N35 5 × 2 mm neodymium magnets, in packs of 10, 50 or 100: discs 5 mm in diameter and 2 mm high for magnetising miniature bases.
They are the ones we recommend for 25 mm round bases and 28.5 mm round bases in Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, and for 25 × 25 mm square bases and 30 × 30 mm square bases in The Old World. It is the magnet glued into the magnetised version of the ImpriWars 25 × 25 mm square bases, and the one that fits the anchor of our 30 × 30 mm square base, the 60 mm round base and the 60 × 35, 75 × 42, 90 × 52, 105 × 70, 120 × 92 and 170 × 109 mm oval bases.
N35 grade gives just the right hold: the miniature stays firm on the steel sheet of a magnetic movement tray or on the metal shelf of a carry case, without the magnet pulling on the glue hard enough to tear away when the miniature is lifted. When the base already has a recess for a magnet, the size of that recess decides. The magnet guide explains which magnet each base takes and why we recommend N35.
A drop of cyanoacrylate gel, which does not run, or of cyanoacrylate glue is enough to fix them. The full process is in how to magnetise miniatures.
