Fifteen wide and fifteen deep, it is the largest on this page: two hundred and twenty-five 20 mm bases and seven other sizes, among them 25×50 mm cavalry and 50×100 mm chariots. Across that whole surface, the 0.6 mm galvanised steel sheet holds each magnetised base, so the formation withstands a knock or a tilt of the tray and the paintwork stays protected. Below, the 3D-printed PLA carries hidden magnets that hold it fast to the metal shelves of a carry case. The 2 mm border makes every manoeuvre of such a large plate precise, adds hardly any bulk to the case and keeps the game fair.
