MDF movement tray for 50×50 mm bases, for Warhammer: The Old World and Warhammer Fantasy Battles. It is designed for units of large models, which move together in the recess of their formation.
The MDF tray
It is an MDF base, cut by laser in the ImpriWars workshop, with the border, 3 mm high and 5 mm wide, already glued onto the MDF base. That border takes sand, texture or paint, like the bases, and on the outside the tray is 5 mm more on each side, that is, 10 mm longer and wider than the recess.
Magnetic version
The magnetic movement tray for 50×50 mm bases is made in the same formations, for magnetised bases: a 0.6 mm galvanised steel sheet and hidden magnets for the metal shelves of a carry case.

How much room does it take?
Ten millimetres more in length and ten more in width than its recess: the two-base single-rank formation, at 100×50 mm, takes up 110×60 mm.
